3)politely, using proper english, ask them to test your battery and alternator

4) a. if both are good, drive it around until the battery is charged and then remove the crappy alarm.

b. if the battery is bad, replace it and remove crappy alarm

c. if the alternator is bad, replace it and remove crappy alarm

5)stop asking stupid common sense questions

OP's original question.

a battery is a battery. does not matter whats it is out of. just make sure the battery from the civic has the same cold cranking amps that the E30 needs.
