    bosch 044 buzzing

    So i know that the 044 is a noisy pump, but it seems to get really loud after driving for 45min or so. I have it powered in parallel with an early model low pressure pump in the tank.

    So today when i was putting my windows up, i noticed that the pump gets nice and quiet when power is going to the window motors. Is that normal?

          Is that normal? I've noticed that when im just idling when the turn indicator is on it dims the OBC noticeably. (probably only noticeable cuz im anal) It has a less than a year old bottom shelf Advance Auto alternator in it. The last on only lasted 9 or so months....

              Your alternator may be on its way out, if your turn indicator is noticeably dimming the OBC, or you have a bad ground.
