Crazy vibration when car is under moderate to heavy throttle

The past few days i've noticed a heavy vibration when i'm on the throttle. It started only in 2nd gear around 2900 rpm...now it's almost anytime I put my foot into it.

The only things i can think of is a transmission or motor mount? I just changed my flex coupler about a month ago, maybe something could have come loose?

Tomorrow i'm going to re-torque my lugbolts and look for tape weights missing on my wheels.

Any ideas would be great guys, i hate when my car acts up.

Center bearing and/or u-joints on the driveshaft.

Any loss of power? Perhaps some misfires?

center bearing should be replaced with flexdisc IMO...

The car is going up on a lift tomorrow morning...i'll let you guys know the final verdict. I'm almost positive that it's the flexdisc and/or center support bearing.

uh, that would last all of... 3 seconds before your driveshat exploded into a million peices. think about it.

in any case I'm glad my car doesn't have one of those things :P

I think what he meant was you should replace the flex disc at the same time.

                    Keep it slideways!!

You should know better than replacing the guibo without the CSB at the same time :)
