    N00b questions.

I have a few general questions about my E30 and some mods.
    1. I'm planning on getting some new wheels, eventually. How wide can I go with out having to roll my fenders?
    2. What all do I need for a five speed swap?
    3. My vallance doesn't want to stay up on the drivers side. How do I fix that?

I'm sure I'll have more the further I get with her.

    Thanks, in advance.

rolling fenders usually done on cars, when people are going 17s, 16x8, 16x9 etc

    2. Search for 5 speed swap

    3. Get a screw, or a new bracket support

      1. So if I only go to 16x7.5 i won't have to roll?
      2. I guess I'll have to do that again.
      3. Can I get brackets new?

photos of part in valance might help.
Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

Depends on the wheel's offset and tire you want to run.

The valance is just hanging on that side. I think the brackests are broke.

I assume putting it on different suspention, possibly coilovers, would change that as well. I was thinking of running a set of ESM 002's. And the offset on those would be 20, I'm not too certian what that means.

get a parts car for a 5-speed swap. get 15x8 wheels w/ either 205/50 or 225/45. Make sure you lower it first.

This is pretty mush exactly what I'm looking to do. I should try to find what suspension that guy is running. Tire size and what no too.

No reason to not roll them, if you do it right

Early air dam brackets suck and crack easily. I made aluminum brackets for this and attached to the front bumper. Get thick aluminum strips about an inch or so wide and make a C out of them the right length and screw the dam to the bumper.

Yeah, I might do it down the road. But it's just not something I want to get in to right now.

Mount it straight to the diving board? I would have to see a picture of it.
