UP to what PSI injectors can the fuel pump supply?

I am curious because I want to run the 318is In take fuel pump in my 2002, which I believe runs about 45 PSI. It would be helpful to know what size injectors it max's out for.

    thanks.

from my understanding stock fuel pressure is 48 psi. I remember researching and anywhere in upwards of 30lb injectors would be max provided your using a stock FPR.

maybe someone can chime in and confirm this...

The stock pump & FPR combination is good for soemthing greater than 19lb injectors. So the pump should work fine in your 2002. Use the 2002 FPR.

I suspect that 42lb injectors are way norrth of what any fuel pump for a BMW 3 series can supply. My guess is that you'll have to go with a large, high capacity, non-BMW pump.

His is not a good example, he is nowhere close to maxing those out.

I used the stock e30 fuel pump to flow 6 42lb injectors (factory 3 BAR fpr) with 1 bar of boost doing 320whp...

I think 4 42lbers at 45psi will be fine. The stock fuel pump is able to flow enough for up to 400whp, given you leave the fuel pressure between 2.5 bar and 3.5 bar. Anything more and it just farts and your motor blows up.

it's true. I hit maybe 45% DC. But, I don't think the stock pump should have any trouble maxing them out even.

Im running an Audi Fuel pump right now, but It doesnt mount inside the fuel tank like the stock 318 one does (which can fit inside a 2002)... Im not sure if there is a difference between a 325i pump and a 318is pump is there?
