    Engine blew...Update

Haha, alright i'm sorry, i had woken up when i posted that.

Anyway... I was driving along the road parallel to my driveway on my way home. the engine started making a really bad clunking noise, worse then before. I noticed the shifting got slightly difficult, and the powersteering seemed to be with less "power".

Then BANG, car shuts off, i look in the rear view mirrow as i drift onto the shoulder to see what broke off/fell into the street. All i see is a path of fluids, which later seemed to be antifreeze. So I get the car turned off, open the hood and look around, and I see green fluid sprayed around, looking closer i see a big chunk of metal with a gear in it, a separate gear piece attached to about an inch thick piece of metal, and a whole in the engine between the Water Pump and where the Dip Stick goes in. I see the oil just sitting in the resevoir from here.

I grabbed the broken off pieces, which luckily werne't caught by hoses, and not laying in the street. and walked home, which was like a 5 minute walk. Got my neighbor to tow me home with a chain and his truck since my parents were gone.

The car is now just sitting along my driveway by one of the barns, so thats what happened.

Going to drain all oil and put a new pump in when it gets here, engine should be here towards the end of next week.

PS. Luckily i had already ordered another engine monday!

    Any ideas anyone?

    Thanks!

You're gonna have to revise you comment or question into a comprehensive english conversation. Start by thoroughly describing what happened and then what you see under the hood of your car.

All I got from your post is that your engine blew and oil and antifreeze are mixed together in some hole in your engine.

        ^^^i'm with him

btw...always have enough oil in your car...i've seen what happens when you don't have enough oil and basically, i was able to see the inside of the motor with opening it up.

Jordan was right when he diagnosed that noise you were having I guess.

                The engine.

You spun a rod and kept driving it?

Yeah, unfortunately I did. I had to run down the street to get some paperwork. Didn't think it would go that soon...Jordan said i could drive it some before it died, didn't think this would happen, nor this soon. Was the only time i drove it after the spun bearing.

This just happened to my friend in his 65 mustang 225. Blew two holes in the block, destroyed the cam, boom, done.

Let me know if you need any help swapping out the motor. If you have something to lift it out, Id say a day or two to swap.

Hey man, really appreciate the offer. Due to the fact i'm moving back to school this coming weekend, i'm having it done by a mechanic, because i dont have the extra time to spend on it. If i had another week i'de definately be doing it myself and take you up on the offer.

Engine is shipping from CA monday from BMR, I have a feeling It won't be here in time...DAMN.

Oh, sorry for the long delay, been at school.. Yes Bavarian motor recycling. Anyway, for an update:

Everything went fine. Got the engine swapped out and as good as new. Sadly it needed a new thermostat, that was as cold trip back to school. :( All good now though.
