I'm in love with the Rota Grid V wheel...but I've got some questions/concerns and would like your thoughts.
The grid v is offered in 15x7 and 15x8 in both 20 and 0 offsets for each.
However, the 0 offset (on both the x7 and x8 ) has a deeper, stepped, pronounced dish that I really like and would prefer. I would run a 225x50x15 tire on either width.
The question is, if I want the 0 offset wheel for the dish, but fear the potential poke, is it possible to mill down the hub/mounting face to effectively tuck the wheel back into the car?
Realizing I'd have to be dead nuts perfect flat on the mill to avoid the risk of an uneven cut....measure 18 times and cut once, does this sound feasible?
