    Turbo e30 running to rich

So, i have a turbo e30 with a very low boost setup, around 8psi.

I have run into a fuel issue. It runs so rich! But only when i first step on the pedal. Then settles down a bit. But still poors fuel smoke out the back when accelerating when not under boost. Its much worse when the engine is cold, but still does it a bit when the engine is hot. It idles at 14.8 A/F but its having troubles when i give it any throttle, almost like it has a vacuum leak, but i looked everywhere for one.

can you give a little more info on your setup? I would start checking for boost leaks but that would mean that you're lean when not in boost and rich when in boost, not the other way around. you might have a leak post AFM but before the turbo. PCV system or similar maybe?

(It's late so I might be thinking this out wrong...)

Well, its an ebay turbo setup, I have had a ripped intake boot before, and that just makes it rich all the time. I have looked for leaks but can't find any. Maybe i should do a smoke test. Does anyone know where you can buy something to do a smoke test? Or how to make your own?
