RockAuto has one that is a serpentine style, but if it's only 2 or 3 degree difference from the PF, then I'll get that one.
nah I'm using oem condenser, probably later I buy rockauto condenser if I want colder ac but as of now is fine for me.

are you using stock 14inch aux fan?? because I'm using 16inch aux fan.

another thing is i stuff insulate foam all around the expansion valve and evaporator pipe to keep it cold.

Now i nee to tint my windows to make sure the cold stay in the cabin.

Damn, I was hoping you were using the PF/Serpentine condenser. lol

I'm using the stock 14in fan as of now. It gets pretty cold if the ambient temperatures are low (such as night time and rainy weather), otherwise it's not as cold as I'd like it to be. My E34 wagon isn't tinted, has a lot more cabin space, and that car gets pretty cold. I might just bite the bullet, order the new condenser, and see if it makes a difference. I just don't see why it wouldn't, considering PF condenser are much more efficient than tube and fin designs.

          lol wut.

tinting my windows dropped my average interior temp at least 5 degrees. once the ac is on for 15 minutes it stays really nice and cold. direct sunlight will keep heating up the interior.

An aftermarket highflow condenser fan will make a huge difference at idle. Mine is so cold at idle, I have to direct the dash vents away from me (82F in the shade today).

Alright kiddies! So after taking my car on a test drive in SW FL, the vents were only spitting out 58F at city driving speeds (45-55 MPH) and that's with a stock condenser. I re-did my whole system weeks ago (flushed lines, new drier, new compressor, new o-rings, new expansion valve, but didn't touch the condenser) Mind you, it is rainy out today and I thought it would get much colder than that...but apparently not.

KenC - I'm about to order a serpentine style condenser from RockAuto (http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/moreinfo.php?pk=62315). Do you think this would somewhat be close to a PF's ability to cool the cabin more effectively? I know you mentioned something about a high flow condenser FAN, but if I can retain the stock fan and replace the condenser, I would like to do so.

58F was the lowest it would go at night in my car. My E34 wagon hit 39F last night, it was pretty damn cold. and this was a good 79F ambient temperature. I am going to go ahead and find a website with a perfect fit condenser for the E30 (whether it's parallel flow or serpentine) and when it comes in, I'm going to do a write up on it or something. I would like to clear this all up for the R3V members who are searching this topic as well.
