has anybody had experience with E30 werks in HB Ca?

So ive got a little project 1987 325is that is a little more than a little project. I need to do a motor and trans seal, and inspection as well as a swap. the car is on its way to being a streetable racecar that is true to era and I was quoted at Rhinetrade for 1000 for just the swap. but e30 werks' robert told me 1500 for sealing and "doing it right".
Since he owns an e30 shop, im inclined to go with e30werks, but i need to know if anybody has had any experience (good or bad) with e30 werks.

TY in advance as i will be dropping major coin on this car now and in the future.

Given your location, its a no brainer. Just don't bring it in anytime soon as he has to fix my car first =].

I've been to his shop a bunch of times, he knows his shit and I trust him to do good work. There was some bad blood between him and a few r3v folks, so he doesn't come around here, but he's active on e30tech and is a respected member of that community.
