    Auto shifter removal?

How do I get the automatic tranny's shift "knob" off? Tranny needs to come out, any other info would be lovely.

You shouldn't have to remove the shift "knob" to do the tranny.

If you're swapping an auto for an auto, you can leave the whole shifter assembly in place. Unclip the single selector rod from underneath. If you're doing a 5 seed swap, you can remove the whole shifter assembly in one piece minus the decrotive cover that goes over the console.

^this, found out that you can just unclip the little rod going down. Thanks though!
