I left my sunroof open and my drivers window open in the rain and now my door ajar chime is going off. I haven't tried fault tracing it at all yet just wanted to see if the chime relays shit the bed sometimes or if something else is wrong. For now I just unplugged the relay. Also does anyone know if the relay has a dual purpose? there is two plugs going into the relay.

BTW: the car is an 87 325is.

The 2nd plug is for the OBC gong when it's too cold outside or you go over your preset speedlimit. You probably are gonna need to mess around with the little button behind the ignition swtich that turns the gong on when the key is on, that is 99% of the time the problem with random gong-ing.

the gong is crap, take the damn thing out. I'm glad mine never worked.
