Disconnected Battery, Now Car freakin' out

I disconnected my battery terminal, and when i reconnected it all the electrics work, but the car will not even attempt to start...the key seems to be locked in acc mode...and the emergency flashers are going

there is no sound like an alarm or anything else...the car was running fine with no issues before hand

the car has no stereo in it at all...it still has the wiring harness from an alpine tape deck, but it's been out of the car for at least a month

please help, i'm dead in the water here

Sounds like the OBC code needs to be input. Do you have the obc installed?

yep...nothing's missing other than i've surgically removed an aftermarket alarm

should i pull the obc and then put it back in?

edit: I have a 6 button obc, so this is not the likely culprit

Was the battery disconnect for removal of the alarm? If so I'd suspect that the car's wiring didn't get correctly restored to original configuration.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

if you disconnect the battery, it erases the OBC code. it's a pretty weak security system..

battery was disconnected to remove the gauge cluster...airbag was already gone, so not the likely culprit...in the past, it would do this, but if i put the key in position 2, then reconnected the battery, it would start...i checked connections and only unplugged alarm

The starter disable is probably still connected to a relay. This prevents the car from starting. I would double check your ignition wires from the switch at the steering column. Make sure those are connected without any after market interruption.

If emergency lights are on, make sure the switch is not half way in or stuck.
