If you look at the first image that I posted, it shows IE's short shift kit with the weighted collar on it to ease shifting with the decreased torque abilities of the shorter levers.
Didnt know the pic was of ie's kit, sorry

I think its prob funny to you cause you are a little slow and don't have common sense. The guy i'm working with does this for a living so i think he prob knows more about this stuff then you. we have all the tools and machinery to manufacture this stuff or i would not have even posted this thread.
So you are telling me that you can only make a weight collar for the z4 shifter since that is the short shifter you are going to use? Will the same one fit all of the other short shifters, or would those people be left in the dark? I dont doubt the ability of you or your friend, but I think its funny that you tell me that I am slow and dont have any common sense when you should have the common sense to understand that I am just trying to help you make money, and that I didn't insult you in any way.

    good job

What I do think is funny though, are the people who want the m30 or m5x or s5x brackets. You said it yourself when you said

Its kinda obvious that you have to have a guinne pig to fit the parts so ummmm.... duh i'm gonna use my car.
So when are you doing a m30 swap, and when are you doing a m50 or s50 swap so that we can see these brackets? I am not putting you or your welders skills down, I am just saying that all the people requesting things need to be realistic in what they expect from a request, especially if you dont currently have a s50 or m50 to put in your car, or a ix front driveshaft.

    Understand what I mean now?

And by the way, I live in boone~ and have a ix

still want to make those driveshaft spacers for us? :D

^^^if you want to make something for your car and are serious about it then we need to meet up in boone sometime and take your car to the shop. The collar will be able to fit any of the levers. And hopefully i will do a x50 swap this winter or spring. I need time to put it in and i am in college right now. sorry if i seemed a little ticked but some people are jerks and it semmed like you were trying to say that we were never going to make any parts or do anything. It would not work to make something for a car that i don't have acess to or access to parts like they want (like you said). So like you want the ix stuff so it would be great if you came to the shop so we could build the stuff off your parts/car.

That it would be loud and vibrate a lot... but hey... to each his own.

people would buy that, and if when I do a swap I would stick with rubber bushings, I dont have a race car

ok guys you ready for this?!?! after doing some more research on the weighted collars we came across something that will work for this. They are already made and will more than likely cost less than $10. Sure we are not gonna make any money off them but we just want you guys to get the best deal you can and we would be jerks if we bought them prebuilt and sold them to you guys for like 3x's more. I am going to post the pics later tonight and a price (so i will prob put it under FS: section to follow rules). We can't make wheel spacers cause we don't have the right machinery to do it. Does anyone have a spare e30/m50 tranny mount for us to look at so that we can make sure they fit good.

what would you charge for an exhaust fromt he manifold to the muffler for a 325? its an 87 and i have the muffle just my exhaust pipe is rusted to shit. I dont care about a car back or anything, just a bent pipe that will fit.

The vibration put through your chassis from this will cancel out any 'gains' and will start loosening a lot of various hardware.

Also, it isn't recommended by any reputable source even for a dedicated track car.
