Do you need this set for anything on our cars? Im doing a power steering pump on Friday on my BMW and I know for a GM, its always good to have a set. But I borrowed someone's when I did p/s pumps on those cars. I came across a matco set practically brand new for a good price and I don't know if I need it or not.

they are great to have when you need them, but thats not very often. if the price is "great", and you aren't stretching your budget thin, go for it. you'll be super pissed later when you need them and don't have them.Originally posted by BillBraskyThat's like Vlad challenging Chip Foose to a car painting contest.Originally posted by acolella76i'm pretty sure 'Phillis' is short for syphilis

I use crows foot wrenches and sockets to change out control arms. Works wonders on the passenger side control arm ball joint. Gives you just enough turning capability to get the nut on and off.
As mentioned before, having the correct tool for the job makes the money worth it. You wouldnt believe the job time savings with having the correct tool for the job. I went the longest time without a set of snap on wobble extensions and now I don't know how i ever did without them.

You don't need them all for e30 but work wonders if you ever remove brake lines. Box end works fine for P/S since it's a banjo bolt.Ma che cazzo state dicendo? :|

I only use the crow for o2 sensors and that pesky ball joint.
