    Urethane Bushings

The Ground Control RSM's use urethane bushings and I think they are the culprit for the annoying squeak-squeak I have. What type of grease/lube should be used on lease. White Lithium grease?

    TIA

I bought lithium grease and anti siezing grease. Would puting either one of these make the problem worse? Is one better than the other because it will last longer?

      Thanks

ive been repeatedly told anti-seize and have used it to no ill effect. I used Lithium grease at first but I think the stuff i had was too thin and only worked for a few weeks.

god i'm such a idiot! i just realized that's probably the source for my squeak, it started within a day of installing my billet RSMs, but i thought it was my sway bar or trailing arm bushings  thank you for starting this thread :)

Bad news...my squeak is still there. Now I am thinking it has nothing to do with the suspension. Tomorrow I will investigate a possible SQUEAKY SEAT!! After 1 hr. of looking, greasing, and assembling, it is still there.

all my suspension bushings are urethane and none of them squeak. :)

I had a similar problem when I first installed my GC rear shock mounts.

Is the nut at the top of th shock & shock mount assembly tight enough?

If it isn't it will cause a squeak.

                  Regards

Yeah the nut is plenty tight. I will look more into it tomorrow.

                    Thanks
