Windows and ac suddenly don't work

Ho everyone, I put the top down on my 90 e30 and I tried putting the windows down, and got nothing, I noticed the ac didn't work as well, I was trying to change the from bezel computer to anther one, but I couldn't get the 2 bottom screams off, so I kind of gave up on that, any suggestions? Many thanks.

Checked the ones under the hood, they are all good, is there any others? Would me messing with center console control affect it?

manual crank.....the're the only e30 windows that never break :)

what about the circuit breaker button on the dash? Or is that just on early models?

But it's not just the windows, the ac and heater does not turn on
Anymore as well, I was trying to change
The center console, but didn't pull it out, I couldn't get the bottom screws out, so I left it alone, after that the probblem started.

well, the window wiring harnesses all go under the center console near the shifter, so maybe you pulled them loose off the switches? IDK why that would have affected the heater or AC.

Isn't it 75 and sunny every day in Pasadena anyhow? You don't need no stinkin AC or heat!

IDK what else to say - check all fuses - check your Bentley to see what fuses are used by both the HVAC and windows (if any) and check those first. Otherwise, you will need to pull the center HVAC console and stuff in that area and find whatever wire has come unattached....

When you say heater and AC do not work, do you mean the blower motor?

There is a wire that goes to the starter so that when you are cranking to start, it cuts power to the windows and blower. I would check the relay or parts associated with that. maybe you accidentally shorted something and the relay went.

When i was doing my swap, i screwed up my harness because my blower and windows didnt work.. turns out that i did not connect my starter correctly.

I know this has nothing to do with removing the center bezel, but its a possibility.

ok, i took out fuse 10, and everything worked, not sure why that fuse is causing the issues? fuse looks fine.

update, so now that i took out fuse 10, i noticed that my temp sensor is acting up now, and the little meeter in the middle of the cluster goes green then yellow, then it stops, the cluster is acting up now, is this because i took out fuse 10?

Yes, it's the same as the load reduction relays (K5 and K7 I think). Basically, you should disable this function or buy a new starter. Most people just disable it and don't crank the blower up and lower the windows when starting. I believe you'll have to take the 30h wire of the starter (thin wire, check an ETM for color) and ground it. There are DIYs on this site.
