Leave your car on cinder blocks and remove wheels wherever you park. I personally would put a switch on the seatbelt latch switch. No thief would put the seatbelt on, especially if they couldn't start the car they were trying to steal.

Instead of smash your window, destroy your steering column, THEN realize it wont start.
Trick switches and the like are only a minor inconvenience as compared to this. And, as stated, this is obvious. They'll know from one glance that they won't be driving the car away. That won't even slow down a pro as they'll most likely steal the car with a snatch truck.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

^if you live near the reserve, they will steal anything on the main road that is old enough to hotwire. Then you can forget about getting it back because they use it for a impromptude demolition derby.

Unfortunately, if they want it, they will take it. It will just depends on how much they want it. At cheap, a blinking LED light on the dash will at least show an obstacle may be present.

Never said it was the best. But it's cheap and at least it's a visible deterrent unlike the kill switch.

No matter where you live NO ONE is going to try and steal an e30 by driving it away.
Now if they want it because its an e30 they may tow it but once again NO ONE will be driving off in an e30 without the keys.

If however you still feel like somehow you live in an alternate universe and there is a legitimate risk to getting your car stolen then do as suggested by pulling the fuel pump fuse or fuel pump relay or you could even unplug the CPS.

Honestly all that is a waste of time though.
