    I made a press fitting to get mine out, and turned down a nut and
    welded it onto a piece of threaded rod to pull them back in.

    Absurdly tight.

    Like, class 4 fit...

                used the axe for mine the other day even though there was nothing wrong with the shafts. accidently caught the ex with the back swing. ooops.

                    Have to be careful when prying them, I did that and went for a spirited drive.
                    Halfshaft bearings disagreed, and blew up.
                    It was really fun.... not
                    Put a new one in and she was golden!
