    A few drops of motor oil works fine for me. For door locks, I use a small syringe and needle to squirt the oil in there.

      Motor oil wont stick though. Some sort of thick grease would be better.

        Yeah, I do this once a year so it is not a problem. It is so much easier to squirt oil into tight spot than grease.

            Door hinges on e30s wont really make any noise as they are just pin and dowel designs. If your door is sticky and rough opening or makes a popping or grinding noise, it's the door brake.
