to much work bro. OP is lazy.

Get your spark plug socket out then some vice grip and turn that bitch off. Srsly its that easy even if their on pretty tight.

      Lefty tighty righty loosey, right?

I love the Internet. I appreciate the advice, but these plugs are going in the back of a drawer somewhere or the trash.

Replacing them in 10 minutes is going to much more satisfying than hacking them up for an hour.

Thanks to everyone though for throwing out some advice!

        1. Place plug in deep socket with ratchet on end
        2. Vise grip on ferrule
        3. Twist counterclockwise
        4. ?????
        5. Profit

It seems you may have gotten lost somewhere around step 4.

Are you guys serious? Vise grips? A TORCH? WTF.

If they don't twist right off with ANY set of pliers then something is wrong.

            ^^^ BINGO.

Some replacement spark plugs may look like the top unscrews but they DO NOT. More than likely you will need to cross reference or find another plug in the heat range that will work.

If I were in that situation, a torch is a minimal thing I would use. It would be a personal vendetta...I would take that ferrule off no matter what! A sledge hammer is next on my list.

I just hammered a small cheap 12pt socket on the end and they twisted off and then I just pulled the fell rue out of the socket with needle nose pliers , they didn't want to come of with vice grips

Ahhh, satisfaction. New plugs installed, old hacked up plugs in the trash.
