    Trunk lid sweats...?!

So i live in Seattle and it's now cold and rainy, surprise surprise.... BUT, opening my trunk today, I noticed A LOT of condensation on the top of the inside of the trunk lid. Is there a way to remedy this?

Also have noticed a lot of water accumulation in the left side of the trunk. I suspect the antenna or body moldings near the quarter windows. Anyone have experience fixing a leaky antenna?

Fixing a leaking antenna is easy, replace the grommet. The other common problems relating to the trunk are the tail light seals and then the trunk seal. Of those two, the tail light seals are more commonly a problem.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Right, I've read about those 2, but I'm getting a lot, like the whole inside of the trunk lid covered in drops of water.

Another possibility could be the seals on the sides of the trunk, under the rear bumper. And the condensation can be caused by the standing water in the trunk evaporating.

I would check you rear light seals, as these perish over time allowing water to drip inside, most common cause over here.
Lift up your carpet and slowly pour water over the top of the light from the outside, if they are perished, you'll see the water beading inside.

Your sunroof also drains down into the trunk and into some plastic fittings on the side of the trunk under the bumper. Make sure the hoses are still attached and the plastic parts are in place.

You can also buy water absorbing things to help get the moisture out. I bought a few from Lowe's out of the closet section. They are basically a plastic tub filled with moisture absorbing gravel type stuff. Just leave it in your trunk when you are parked.

Sunroof drains are clear. New trunk seal and antenna grommet on the way. I had the taillights off recently and the seals seamed fresh, but who knows.

When I finally find the source of this condensation, I intend to shame it woefully hard with my best irish accent.

There is a drain slit just under where the jack sits and it gets plugged. I cleared mine with a small slotted screwdriver.

Weird, I've looked and can't seem to find mine. You have any pics per chance?
