I do have the lining out of the white Cabrio so will try to take one when I get a chance. The metal at the very front of the well is punched up so its a 1/2" slit facing forward. Unless it was clear and letting light in from underneath you would only see the bump from above but not the opening since its quite close to the front of the well. I only found mine cause I knew it HAD to be there and yes, it was plugged.

The red car has what looks like a heavy cosmoline or seam sealer type material here and there. Its more like a heavy film than a lining and has the density of putty.

Yep. Same here. I took a screwdriver and perforated right through it where u saw the drain. Strange, seems that way from the factory.

Also took a photo of the inside of my trunk to give you guys an idea about how bad it is. Is this really normal?

That's next on the list. I should have just ordered them along with the lid seal from bav.

I replaced the trunk, antenna and tail light seals and now for the most part, NO SWEAT AND NO WATER ACCUMULATION. Thanks to all for your help.

Good that the new seals helped. If you keep the car in a heated garage it will be a challenge to eliminate condensation under the lid. I'd figure out some way to insulate it to reduce the issue.

Having the exact same problem...well just the condensation...but my carpet and everything else is dry. I guess I'll be replacing all the seals. Although I did notice the top of my trunk seal is wet (the part that should be dry as it should sit tight with the trunk when it's closed) so maybe it's just that. Thanks for posting your solution!
