My car clanks a little when i take off and when i feather the throttle at low speeds im trying to figure out if its the drive shaft or something else. When last I lifted my card i was able to grab the drive shaft and it slightly moved when i wiggled it. I was told its more an an annoyance than a need to fix. Also I think my driver side rear axle is worn out as well. When I grab it. I am able to move it a little before the diff starts to turn the other side. now do i need a new Diff or a drive shaft of the axle or just say to hell with it and replace it all?
I hear clanking when taking off

Driveshaft bolts, Guibo bolts, locking collar nut on driveshaft, csb, diff--in approximate order of likelihood. The first car I ever rode in was an e30

Center support bearing.
Couldn't find one on blunt tech, so check: http://www.turnermotorsport.com/BMW-...-bearings.aspxComment

could be any number of bushings in or mounts that support the drivetrain..
engine mounts, trans mounts, diff mount, subframe bushings
guibo, center support bearing, all related of bolts/fasteners
just throw money at it til it goes away. as a side effect, your car will drive like new again.Comment

I havent been able to check yet cause its cold as the north pole out but just to be clear when i take off it goes CLUNK and if i feather it it goes clunk clunck clunk, when i drop speed and pick it back up it makes the noise not wile accelerating or decelerating. if that makes sence.Float like a cadillac sting like a Bimmer!:)
