Just called Oreilly's in my area and they don't stock and can't order them for some reason.
Sorry, I meant e34, not e39. I just had a spare e34 strut laying around. It seemed like it would fit. It does, but it's a half inch shorter and doesnt seem to be able to hold up the weight of the hood on it's own. I've ordered the strut from the site you gave me.
