    What do you idle at?

my car is idling at like 650. Seems a little low, as my other cars are all around 1000.
Just wondering if i should turn it up a little bit, its sometimes quite rough when stopped at an intersection.

Assuming we're talking about your m20b25...

The factory idle spec is 760 +/- 40 rpm, I believe.

650 sounds a little low, and 1000 sounds quite high :)

If you consistently idle at 650, I'd say turn it up. If not, check idle position sensor?

mm i cant find anything about the idle sensor in my haines manual.
My idle will usually sit around 650, but can drop sometimes.. But for the most part its right on 650.

650.. 1000 is way too high for an M20.

you're fine. the M20 will idle all the way down to 300rpm, technically. as long as it doesn't fluctuate I'd leave it alone.

                    750 +-20

                    650 is just fine.

There is no real adjustment anyways.

As far as it feeling rough, when was the last time you changed your spark plugs? What about your cap and rotor? Simple things like this will make a world of difference if not kept up with.
