also curious about this!! 88 supereta 2.7i for me to. Finally got the i AFM (was running the 88e afm) and now when u go on long left corner it cuts out. as soon as i come outta corner it runs strong again.. havent noticed it to the right yet. doesnt seem to related to fuel level. and i think it only showed up after puttin on the i afm. but then its only after puttin that on that been hitting the corners very hard. so maybe it was there before.... let me know what you find please.... could it be that the barn door afm meter is swinging shut? i have a kamotor CAI that not sitting perfectly level.. u have a AFM or MAF meter?
    Now with 2.7i power!!!

Diagnostics would be the best way to approach this. Tee a pressure gauge into the fuel rail supply line and zip tie it to the cowl or a wiper arm. Then see what the fuel pressure does when an event occurs.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

i thought ur on MS. couldnt remember. gotta do some more spirited driving, long lefts and rights to see if there is any kind of regularity to it. But if urs does it w the speed denisity there goes my barn door closing idea.. it was far fetched i guess, figuring guys drive the mess these w/o the barn doors shutting them down..

these cars have a oil pressure switch/sensor that cuts ign or something along those lines? its pretty common on lots of cars. wont start until there is oil pressure. m20's have that? i dont think they do..

Check the connector of the fuel pump power. Most of the time they get cut and split because of how theyre angled. I went through 3 pumps already thinking that they died. On the third try, the new one never fired till i touched the connector. Thats when i saw the cuts.

Then it dawned on me to check all the pumps and yes, they all still work. And i got to think, the times they went out was after hitting a bump or turning quick.
