    Are all window switches illuminated?

I just open one and there was a white stump where the bulb suppose to go or which model of car came with illuminated switches? And we're can I buy the buld at?

They're not all illuminated, but I couldn't tell what years are or aren't. My guess would be early cars, maybe 84-85 or 86 aren't lit.

No, early cars 84-85 didn't have lighted switches and over time the damn painted arrows would wear out. The lighted switches were a nice upgrade for those cars.

Upgrade to the E36 switches. They are not too difficult to install and are much nicer on the finger tips. Also, the E30 switches begin to fail lately. Mine had severe corrosion and current transfer carbon buildup that accumulated over time. Eventually, my switch just busted apart inside and I upgrade. Much nicer.

Yeah. I got everything for the upgrade, just need time. I was hoping to keep the original but without these lit at night is a pain.
