Can anyone think of why my fuel gauge only works when it's cold outside? Sometimes a smal tap on the dash and it jumps right up but if its 50* or colder it's works by itself. If its hot there's no way it's doing anything. Thanks for any help!

Tighten the brass nut on the back side of the cluster behind the gauge. Do the same for the temp gauge.Originally posted by Matt-Bhey does anyone know anyone who gets upset and makes electronics?Comment

there's also a resistor that is part of the gas gauge circuit where the solder joints can crack. if tightening the nut on the back doesn't work, it would be worth opening it up and possibly reflowing some of those solder joints.Comment
