Is it bad when your fuel pump has a fast tick to it? With the ignition in the on position without cranking it, I can hear the fuel pump ticking really fast. Im hoping that its not something serious.

The pump is controlled by the DME and should only be on when the DME sees timing data from a rotating engine, so it should not be making noise with just the ignition on. Perhaps what you are hearing is from something else?The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
