    Bmw e30 2.7l stroker

    Okay big problem last night came home parked my car no issues she was running great woke up changed my injectors to 19s running megasquirt with stock ecu tune from diy.com setup it for 19s and than went to started it heard scretching the hell my fan was loose and hanging my one bolt... now when I went to crank it after fixing it my syarter went took it apart looked at it went to ty cranking it by hand and well nothing motors seized buts showed and when started had no knock or anything can the fly wheel or clutch fail and cause this , gonna have it towed to a mechanic tom to tear apart but I'm confused.

      Can a flywheel seize a motor or ckutch at all is what I want to know shoulda broke it out aha confused at the moment my engine won't turn over pulled the starter and still nothinf won't spin but started with the syarter in and it boosted but n ow won't turn by hand the hell

        Take a minute to type out your response. I know it sucks to be stranded but we seriously can't figure out what happened and what you've done to test things so far.

          Motora apart , km running megasquirt my fan was wobbling but I found this out when I tried to start my car so I'm like k ahit fixed that now my starter engagea when it feels like and than went try dn start it felt like the motora seized but I was deriving it last night problem frees went checked the timing belt didn't snap. But when I got it boosted it startrd again sounded like the starter was messin up and Hitting the flywheel so took it apart. And now idk wth to do I don't wanna tear it apart and find out my clutch or flywheel or a pull just seized

              So the starter is testing ok outside of the car the isn't engaging while attached? Have you tried to bump start?

                    okay sorry guys cant type on this friken phone ahha , okay my car was running yesterday fine , now when I went to my garage I decided to finally swap in my injectors and put the 19lb injectors on stock motor tune put them in about 20min , started up and made a huge screeching sound shut it off immediately now when this happened it literally sounded bad and than noticed the fan had jammed up and basically messed something up now with the start in the car turned on without a problem again than I went and tried again seized.. the hell is this and than I started wondering wth happened so I thought oh shit timing belt might of snapped took it all apart ye nothing spark plugs out still cant turn the motor by hand I wanna bump start it but if the timing belt did skip a tooth I don't wanna cause anymore damage I will just rebuild the motor its not worth destroying, but is there anyway a flywheel and cause any of this I don't understand wth happened it was running . than seized 0_O/

                    \basically the starter seized up and was hitting the flywheel. can this cause damage other than it just breaking teeth off or can it have caused internal damage

                      If the starter stayed engaged, or tried to reengage itself, it won't do any real damage
                      to anything. Except maybe the ring gear.

                      Rest of the engine will be fine.

                      If that's really what happened- are you sure it was the starter?
                      The whole fan thing seems odd- how about a water pump failure?

                        yeaaa it was the fan. the starter and that's all I parked my car back into the garage running smooth always do now I cant even spin the motor by hand but how the hell dose it seize it it will not spin whats so ever but I think im gonna try and jump start it or boost it and try and get it to turn

                          Ok... I'm going to try to make sense of the situation here. You:

                          1. Have a stroked out m20 that ran fine
                          2. You installed 19# injectors
                          3. After installing the injectors, you went to start the car up and you heard a screeching noise and the car shut off
                          4. You've checked the fan, starter and can't find anything wrong with them.
                          5. You tried turning the engine over by hand, but it just won't budge.

                          Does this sound about right so far? If so:

                          Put the car in neutral, remove all belts that attach to the crank pulley, remove spark plugs, remove starter, then try to turn the engine over by hand. If it still won't move, you may have hydrolocked your engine with fuel (this can be caused by old or torn injector o-rings). However, this isn't very common with top feed injectors, more of a side feed kinda problem.

                          If the crank does start to move though, you can re-install everything you removed one at a time, then try to turn it over - whatever was binding your engine up will do so again.

                            car didn't shut off I shut it off , when the screeching happened fixed the issue im gonna try a few things tom if they fail im gonna the pull the oil pan if i find a bent rod well .. shiet this is weird af. this car ran and got parked in my garage and i ran into these problems sucks cuz my buddy blew his motor just as mine took a crap on me bad luck i guess idk will see if its blown rebuilding
