Is it okay to remove Driveshaft Tunnel Brace?

I just got an exhaust put on and it is rattling on my Driveshaft Tunnel Brace. Is it okay to remove the brace or are there any remedies to stop the rattling?

Are you re-using your old hangers? They could be sagging if so.

Are you referring to the center support bearing? If so absolutely not. You'll trash your guibo and possibly damage the driveshaft over time.

Replace any worn exhaust hangers and if that doesn't solve your rattle bring it back to your exhaust shop.

Not the CSB brace. The Brace infront of that. Its a large brace that bolts on top of the head shield. The only thing supporting the exhaust is the rear hanger and muffler holder. For some reason Magnaflow put a brace that hangs in mid air on their bolt on Cat.

It's a chassis stiffener, probably should not remove stuff that was put there for a reason to make an aftermarket part fit.

you CAN remove that brace, but its dumb to do so. Ive driven cars without one. You cant really notice a difference.

I am only doing it for a short amount of time so I can fix the rattling.

Had to ditch it for the transmission I'm using... no problems.
