You know... it kind of looks like someone loaded your cooling system up with 'stop-leak' pellets at one point in time. Just a speculation, that's all.

When I bought my F150 it had 150k miles and was never flushed, it looked horrible. So I took out the thermostat, opened the drain plug at the bottom of the rad, held the hose on the overflow tank, and let it run for nearly 45 minutes until the water came out clear.Haven't you ever seen Russian Nesting Dolls? They work like that.
