I have an early model with a pump in the tank and the main under the car. From my understanding there is a fuel line that connects the left side of the tank to the right side. I believe that this line is clogged. Can it be replaced? If so, is it a pain to replace or remove to try and clean?

assuming it's not rust welded then it's fairly straight forward. it sits at the bottom of the tanks and is easily visible.
however most are probably completely one with the tank at this point.

I'm going to assume that it will be rusted on. When I picked the car up I had to replace the in tank pump, filter, external pump and rebuild the injectors because of rust settlement. So at this point it may be just as easy as swapping the complete tank out from what it sounds. I was trying to avoid that because the exhaust looks like it's going to be a pain to drop. Thanks for the replies.(OO=[][]=OO)Comment
