    Bringing home a 325ix 2morrow

    Picking it up needs lots of love but runs and drives.
    Needed that I know of now
    Hg
    Rust treatment
    Interior love
    Was wondering what is the name u guys are running for hg? And also part number for arp head studs :)
    Anything I should look out for?

    Pics please :-) and I run VR hg on mine with no issues..Some people will tell different about VR though

          Got her home :/ lots of work ahead guys any support will help.. Have to replace essentially every panel and suspension component on the car

                            ^ nope made a build thread.. What's worth recovering it? Scrap another one? Destroy this car even more? To me it's more then that and if it's possible I will save this car

                              I"m restoring an IX coupe with rust right now. A lot of the parts you need including lower rockers are NLA. So if you really like those cars pick the right one, take your time and work it. The rust repair on this car would cost a bloody fortune and just isn't worth the effort.

                              You still got an amazing score for $100 though! IXs have very rare parts on them - engine block and oil pan, transfer case, front axles, front drive shaft, strut housings.... Definitely do the jack test. It's quick and simple. if it works you're better off parting the car out or finding another shell to put the mechanicals in to. You're easily sitting on $1k or more in parts there.
