    broken brakelights

Both brakelights are no working. Changed fuses 6,22 and 23, changed the brakelight switch, bulbs are good, wiring looks good.

I've heard there's some box that controls the brakelights, but I don't know where to find it in the cabrio. Any help?

I have no clue about electrical stuff. What can I check, I have no idea what a splice or a ground is.

Probably a bit out of your element here, any buddies familiar with electronics?

a splice is where two wires are connected into one, a ground is where an electrical circut makes contact with the chasis to complete the circut. if the splice is broken, or the ground is dirty and/or rusted through, electricity wont be able to go through, and stuff stops working. as for which grounds and splices, i have no idea. i think maybe splice 201?

I've found 2 loose connections with enough play that they could have possibly connected to something else, but I'm not sure.

A black connector with 2 flat connectors with a brown/black wire going to it, says +12V on it.

A long orange connector with 6 round connections on it, with a white/black, a green/black, a red, a purple and a brown wire going to it.

I don't see anywhere obvious for those to connect to. Any of that help?
