I found this loosely hanging from the front end on the car on the drivers side. What is it?

No, you should re-secure it. You shouldn't leave anything hanging, that's just asking for it to get torn off.

Hey there, I also have something I can't identify and I hope it's ok to pin it here. It's hanging from the same general location (front driver-side under the valance) and I can't exactly follow the wires back to the fuse box or anything else. Thanks in advance!

look under car at the brake airduct #5 in link you should find a hole in the side of the duct (if its there) that the outside temp sensor snaps into

that is the two pin connector for the above temp sensor ,your sensor is missing probably ripped off like OP's will be if not secured.... timely post
