Weird sound on my 1991 318i

So I have a 1991 318i and at times when I start it up it is fine but then I might have a clicking sound inside the cabin that I have no idea where it is coming from. It almost sounds like he turn signals clicking. It has happened before and it just stopped, but a few days ago it came back. The last time it did it my tension belts ripped so I have no idea if they were loose it over tightened. Does anyone have any similar problems?

I have the same issue. Cant remember the exact name but it clicks like 6-7 times when your turn the key. Nothing to worry about at least for me (it has been doing that for a while) and no problems.

I have had some similar issues, no clue why it does it but its nothing that needs to be fixed/checked out.

Is the noise happening while you're driving? If so, try turning off your heat and see if the noise stops. I went crazy thinking it was my driveline to find out its was just the water valve.

It does happen when I'm driving sometimes and how would I turn off my heat if I don't have the heat on? Yeah I know, the sounds is making me go crazy over it! Is there a way I can post a sound clip or video so I cab show you guys what the sound is?
