Update.
I managed to lift the carpet up halfway after removing it from under the door sills and it doesn't look to be too serious. There isn't any water underneath the front foot area, the foam underneath that looks clean.
The only damp and dirty spot would be the footwell behind the front seats. Looks like the water/liquid was just soaked into the foam In that area because the rest Infront of that spot looks dry.
Again like I said I will be hosing the car in every corner tomorrow to make sure nothing leaks inside.
As for the carpet, I don't think I will be completely removing it anymore since it doesn't look to easy without having to cut it. Looks like the heater core, ac box, and dash all have to be removed if I want to pull out the carpet without damaging it. It sits right on top of the carpet and I have no clue how it'll just come right out. I'll keep it in and clean it really thoroughly. Hopefully I'm not skipping over a bigger issue. I guess only time will tell.
Looks like no one is with me on the chances that there was a soda or drink spillage in the back seats area
but the more I look for how serious it is and for leaks, the more I'm leaning to that possibility.
The only next mysterious issue is that the car has been stripped of rear seats and left with the doors open for more than a day but the rear bottom seat area still looks damp. It doesn't have any gas/fuel smell so I don't think it can be that.
I will post up more pictures later on.
Like always, thank you guys!
