Vibration on take off - what is the usual cause

It's the CSB. Had it happen to me on 1st and 2nd gear. After that it was fine.

Can I lower the exhaust but keep the manifold bolts untouched? How bad is this job? What parts? I need a guibo and CSB. Do I replace the u-joints as well? The exhaust is my big concern. I don't know how the hell I would disconnect the rusted rounded studs at the manifold.

You can leave exhaust bolted at manifold. Just undo all exhaust hangers so you can have room to get drive shaft out.

Out if 10, I'd say this is a 3.

ok, good news on the exhaust. What other parts? Guibo? U-joints? Anything else that you can remember? Thanks.

I don't think the u-joints are something easy to replace. Once drive shaft is out move the ujoints around and see if they bind, maybe lube them. The guibo and CSB is all I would change unless I saw something terribly worn.
