    ....are Motometer and VDO SI boards the same ? interchangeable?

      Yup, I did it with mine, no problems. You just need to make sure that the back of your cluster matches - parts from white backed ones only go with white. Blue backed clusters only go with blue. Can't interchange between white and blue clusters.

            Sorry but this is completely untrue. There are early model clusters and late model clusters. All early models are white back. Late models are mixed, white and blue.

            Early clusters have 9 LED's across the front
            Late clusters have 7 LED's across the front.
