    Compression test

I've got a euro 323i, and after doing a dry compression test i've gotten the following results:

    176, 176, 177, 176, 176, 179

The results are pretty up there but I'm troubled because the 1st cylinder plug had oil on it, and all the other ones were completely black, I'm thinking screwed piston rings but then the compression results wouldn't be so high would they?
I'll be doing another one soon to check the results, and also wet, just to be sure, but what is your opinions?

I've done the searchy searchy but no luck finding an answer.

could be valve stem seals, those wouldn't show up in a compression test and can leak oil into the cylinders.

I'm hopeful for something like that, I'll remove the head anyways so I'll see if it's the valves, the engine has currently 120k miles, and according to the previous owner, just oil and filters changed.

how many cranks were needed to get those results?

My parents used to have a euro 323i which had leaking valve guides and used to burn oil like crazy. It also caused carbon build up on the piston tops causing pre-ignition. Do you have any of those problems?

About 9, I just let it spin till it stabilized.
Didn't drive it much, but no pre-ignition to speak of, and not much oil burning, about the carbon build up, I'll know when I remove the head, but it should be pretty high, the car was running extremely rich when i bought it, couldn't even keep steady idle.
