Hey guys, hoping to clear up some confusion in ordering parts for my shifter rebuild.
The shifter in my ES is super sloppy so I want to rebuild the linkage and add a Z3 1.9 lever while I'm doing it. Since my car uses the sheet metal platform I want to make sure I order the correct parts, since most of the info available is for the late-model shifters. I've done some searching and I've found most of the info to be kind of convoluted, so I'd like to clarify exactly which parts I should be replacing.
I've found a few kits available with slightly different parts. The Early Model e30 SSK from Condor Speed Shop seems comprehensive but a little pricey. There's also this one from ECS without the 1.9 lever that isn't too expensive.
And of course I can always piece everything together myself, unless there's a good kit out there with everything I need. Gotta get them derelin bushings, too. I'm leaning towards the Condor kit but I want to make sure I can't get everything in there for cheaper.
