i hate CA emissions... mine dind't pass either, but i dunno why yet.. tryin to sort it all out.

Well I took the car to get it inspec. and talked to the guy there and told him my situation and he said that since the bill of sale didnt say that the car was suppose to be a parts car or no op the seller is still responsible for smog. So im just gona see how much itll cost tomrrow. the mech. said its usually 300-500$ which I might just pay for or ask the seller to go in 50/50 with me depending on how much its going to cost.

anyways I think my luck is turning around....NOT.
The shop was to suppose to give me a call around 12am which they didnt so I gave them a call and found out the guy working on my car might have broken his hand and was taken to the hospital and that I should call back around 5.

Well my car passed smog today with no work done :crazy:

the guys at the shop I took it to were real nice and found out that the car didnt need any work just needed to be tested in 1st and 2rd gear not 2rd and 3rd. they only charged me 65$ (was suppose to be 90$ just to look at it!) and were going to smog it for me but couldnt get in the system since I already took it to another place but did a test only where it passed. the guy also told me that im going to need a new clutch fun soon (one in there *MIGHT* last to next summer) wonder how much that would cost

but anyways went back to the first smog place and he gave me crap about regulations but ended up doing it in 1st and 2nd gear
