price to do 2.5 head swap on eta

Hello. I know there are probably a hundred postings for this but im looking at doing the head swap with the 885 head into my eta. I have been looking into this and cant find an estimated price for the build. do you think its possible to do the head swap for under a 1000$ and what all do i need for it as its going to be my project for my automotive class. I appreciate all comments and if you know of some useful links to give me the information needed please comment it. For my class I have limited time and will have to bring everything in with me at once so i want to have everything i need ordered to do this and not have to go back. I want to get as much power out of it as possible and the obvious increasing my revs so if once again any links giving me a detailed parts list will be appreciated thanks :)

I think you can do it for under 1K if you use CL for most of the actual big parts not the gaskets and what not.

Yes you can do it for under $1000.

I bet with a little looking you can find a whole m20b25 with engine harness and dme for $500.

I'm about $750CAD into mine. Got a m20b25 motor off the local classifieds for $450 and the rest was on refresher parts (Gaskets, studs, etc). Got the 173 ECU off here for another $65USD if I remember correctly. Fap99.com and AutohausAZ.com had the cheapest parts by far.
