    Odometer Gears

So I know the go to is on garagistic, but is it just the odometer for total milage, or the trip also, because both of mine are broken and I want to know if I just need the one set.
    Thanks,
    Trevor

You just need the one set, you get everything you need. Be sure to check if you have VDO or Motometer, the gears are different.

Here's a DIY video to help you install:

When I replaced mine, both my odometer and trip counter started counting again. Just be careful when removing the cluster so that you don't damage the A posts. Otherwise it's a pretty smooth operation.

Not meaning the a pillars, but rather the securing tabs/arms on the cluster itself, which are fragile.

PO took out the cluster and put an new one in. The cluster I'm replacing the gears on has milage closer to that of the car, but the tabs are broke. Suggestions?

Also says "Motometer" on it, so I figure it's a motometer lol

Try putting it in like that. The cluster should be, for the most part, snug even without them.

That's not broken enough to be a problem. It'll still install fine. If you want, you could put a washer around the screw that holds the more broken tab and maybe glue the crack on the other side so it doesn't break more.

if you REALLY wanted to go all out, you could get some epoxy clay and build out the tab a little and reform the hole (before the clay sets, it'll be easier.)
