    A/C blower weak

Finally had a R134 conversion done and am getting very good vent temperature (in the low 40s at idle).

While I am happy with the nice cool temperature, I now notice that the air flow coming out of the vents is fairly weak.
The blower works at an increased speed for all settings, so the resistor seems to be functioning.

I've tried searching this and found that the non-Euro E30s do not have a cabin air filter. What else can I clean out to try and get more air-flow?
Or is there something I should be doing to improve this?

Im just wrapping up a dash swap in my ETA "time capsule" and most of the while-you-are-in-there time went to the HVAC unit.

The large foam seal Between the unit and the dash ducts was disinitergrated as was all the foam on the various flaps. The cross rod that connects the foot vents so they open and close together, was disconnected so one stayed open 24/7 and one of the rods to the recirculating servos was also disconnected. In that's a lot of lost functionality and diminished air flow.

Also, the blower motor has two fans, the fans are like a little hamster wheels, with little fins that break with time...Depending on how many are broken, the air flow volume will be diminished exponentially.

I have the same issue, I'm having about maybe 60% of the "normal" flow, and the previous owner passed on an used fan wheel, but I'm reading that it is better to replace the whole thing (blower motor with two fans) since it will probably finish breaking in the process.

What AC compressor did you decide on using?

Stock Denso (updated version used post 1988).
It was flushed out and then the system was filled with PAG oil prior to charge.

Has anybody tried one of these kits to rebuild the blower motor?
