    How to seal

    How do I seal the metal to metal hose for the idle control module that is splined into the intake manifold. Please let me know

      Huh how did it hold. I've heard some people use wood glue. It's really messing with my idle. I'm surprised bmw used such a bad design

        There's a DIY to tap those and use screw in fittings. One and done

              I'd avoid epoxy/jb weld in case you need to remove them later. Gasket maker/sealer will work fine and allow removal later.

                I got tired of gasket RTV (red stuff) failing and went with adhesive RTV (clear/white stuff) and it's held great.
                AWD > RWD

                  You don't need to use strong glue or whatever for that join. Quite often it needs to come out when ICV is removed for cleaning. I used RTV sealant, it has no trouble so far.

                    Well I ended in just jb welding it. I'll probably tap it when my intake comes off for paint next summer. The idle is better but still a little lumpy. I've never heard an e30 before let alone a m20 so I'm assuming a little lumpy is ok. I'm going to replace the fuel filter and possibly pump soon just to make sure. Theirs a little lag when hitting the throttle in neutral
