    Brake pad light wiring

My brake lining light is on.

The sensors looked okay (plastic is all in-tact), but I replaced them anyways... light still on.

Had a cut wire for the wiring in the driver's wheel well, and I had that fixed by soldering in new wires... light still on.

Tried shorting the wiring by placing a wire into the connectors... light still on.

For now I have pulled the lightbulb out of the cluster, but I'd like to figure this one out.
How would I go about tracing the brake lining wires and find out where the short is?

Front and back sensors I believe are tied in series. Have you checked the rear passenger's side sensor?

If it's not the pad wear sensors, it's a broken solder on you instrument board. There is a post showing the location and a fix.

Thanks, I just looked that up and will have to check out the connections with the 220ohm resistor tomorrow.
