    M42 hell continues

    I'm have popping noise and no idle on 91 318is after mess under the intake and cable cover replacement. Videos below

      It sounds like the firing order is not correct. Did you take out the spark plugs to see what they look like?

        They are brand new just put them in 2 months ago and hadn't driven it since I did but around the block

          Sounds like a vacuum leak to me. There is a port on the underside of the throttle body boot that is not used. The stock on has a plug in it, new ones do not come with it. Make sure it is plugged up.

          Check all your connections again and make sure there is nothing open to atmosphere.

            Looks like no hose clamps on the bellows so there could be a unmetered leak.
            89 E30 325is Lachs Silber - currently M20B31, M20B33 in the works, stroked to the hilt...

              In your second video it looks like the cylinder 3 and 4 wires might be switched. There should be enough extra wire on cylinder 4 to wrap around cylinder 3's wire.

                No clamps on the intake boot will leak a TON. Definitely need those. Start there.
